Chicken and Broccoli is a flavorful dish featuring tender chicken and crisp broccoli in a savory sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners.
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced thinly
2 cups broccoli florets, washed and trimmed
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 cup chicken broth or water
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Cooked white or brown rice, for serving
Pat chicken dry and slice thinly. Season with black pepper.
Blanch broccoli for 1–2 minutes, then transfer to ice bath.
Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin, honey, chicken broth, and cornstarch in a small bowl.
Heat oil in a skillet, cook chicken until opaque and slightly golden.
Add garlic and ginger, sauté 30–45 seconds.
Add broccoli and sauce, stir until thickened.
Drizzle sesame oil and serve over rice.
