Chicken and Broccoli is a flavorful dish featuring tender chicken and crisp broccoli in a savory sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners.

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced thinly
2 cups broccoli florets, washed and trimmed
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 cup chicken broth or water
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Cooked white or brown rice, for serving

Instructions

  • Pat chicken dry and slice thinly. Season with black pepper.

  • Blanch broccoli for 1–2 minutes, then transfer to ice bath.

  • Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin, honey, chicken broth, and cornstarch in a small bowl.

  • Heat oil in a skillet, cook chicken until opaque and slightly golden.

  • Add garlic and ginger, sauté 30–45 seconds.

  • Add broccoli and sauce, stir until thickened.

  • Drizzle sesame oil and serve over rice.

Adjust vegetables or protein as desired. Avoid overcooking broccoli or chicken.
