Crispy, golden roll ups filled with melted cheese, perfect for a quick snack or light meal.

Ingredients

8 slices soft white sandwich bread, crusts removed
8 slices cheddar, mozzarella, or American cheese
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  • Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin.

  • Place a slice of cheese on each piece of bread.

  • Roll tightly and place seam-side down.

  • Spread butter over the outside of each roll.

  • Sprinkle with garlic powder and parmesan if using.

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat.

  • Cook roll ups, turning until all sides are golden brown.

  • Remove, cool slightly, and serve.
