High-Protein Honey Garlic Shrimp made with tender shrimp cooked in a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze.
1 1/2 pounds large shrimp peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup honey
3 cloves garlic minced
3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon cornstarch optional
2 tablespoons sliced green onions optional
1 teaspoon sesame seeds optional
Pat shrimp dry.
Whisk honey, garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, and cornstarch if using.
Heat olive oil in skillet over medium high heat.
Cook shrimp 1 to 2 minutes per side until pink.
Pour sauce into skillet and simmer 2 to 3 minutes until thickened.
Toss shrimp to coat evenly.
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds and serve.
Do not overcook shrimp. Serve immediately for best texture.
